Comments:

This is a great little knit. I love the way the yarn pretty much striped itself due to the size of the piece. It works up fairly quickly.

When I knit it again, I think I will use two circulars instead of two double points. It is a bit fiddly to knit in the round with just two needles. Also, I would definitely go up in needle size because US 3 on worsted cotton is very hard on the fingers. It was very tight and took longer because of it.

I also think that I would add some stuffing to his eyes. Perhaps I was supposed to infer that one would do that, but I didn't and I would like the eyes to be a bit more full. I will definitely knit more of Kahra's patterns.

Gilly is named for Montreal Canadian Hal Gill (formerly of the Pittsburgh Penguins), a game I was watching while I finished him up.

I think next up might be a manta ray or a weiner dog…not sure which yet. I have loads of cotton to use up and these guys don't take much.
